Rib: Polar Flash, gold, graduated
Body: Turkey barbs, black
Wing: Turkey slip, black, folded
Veiling: Llama mix, olive – very sparse
Head: Ostrich, black, twisted around tying thread

3. snap T
4. snap Z

Keep these things in mind while “switching”:

1. Gentle accelerate during 1st phase (“jump” phase, pick-up phase)
2. Wait for ” kissing the water” BESIDE you (late 2nd phase)
3. Keep your hand TOGETHER (close each other) – never APART!
4. Rotate your elbow in elipse way – this will sharpen your D-loop!
5. Stop HIGH on a 3rd phase!
6. Haul SMOOTHLY with your line hand!
7. and ALWAYS SMILE !!!

Thread: Benecchi 12/0, grey
Abdomen: Polar Flash, clear, and mink underfur, light dun, in split thread,
twisted together
Wing case: Black gouse hen feather strip (or any other mottled brown feather)
Thorax: Argentinean hare, dark grey
Sides: Polar Flash, clear (continuation of the abdomen strips)
