Thread: Benecchi 12/0, grey
Hackle: Hazel grouse wing covert, sparse
Abdomen: Polar Flash, red, wrapped flat
Rib: Polar Flash, red, corded
Thorax: Hazel grouse philoplume, from base of hackle feather

With distance fly casting, everything has to be longer:

1. long haul
2. long stroke
3. long SLP (straight line path)
4. long drift
5. longer timing (wait longer!)
6. longer rod
7. long belly fly line

Also, high aiming is needed!

Of course, keep SMOOTH all of these above! And RELAX your grip!
